A Conversation Between a Loving God, and a Prodigal son.

A Conversation Between a Loving God, and a Prodigal son.

And then I asked the Lord, “why, O God, must I have so many trials? Do I deserve this?

The Lord responded:

O little child, how you are loved! What is a trial to you, is a blessing to another. How many people would love to have the life you live? I have given you so much. Besides, shouldn’t you be expecting trials to come your way? That’s how it is! (1 Thessalonians 3:3). Trials cause you to persevere and have more faith (James 1).

Listen child, when you persevere under trial, YOU ARE BLESSED!!! Because when this life is all said and done, I will give you the crown of life. I promised it to you, did I not? (James 1:11).

Besides, worse days are coming. There is coming a time when your brothers and sisters will die for their faith in me. I love you, child. I took your punishment. So, stick with me, okay? (John 3).

Selah

Seems as if those worse days are already here in certain parts of the world. All over the world, various Christian peoples are suffering for their faith in the Living God. This truth should put your life into perspective for you. What have you done for God today? Have you actively shared your faith with someone? If your answer isn’t an instant “yes” than I urge you to think about how you can serve the Lord with all that he has given you.
